Case Study - Ford Motor Co

The Brief

Ford Motors required a passenger transport system fitout that could seat up to 12 passengers. This fitout was to exceed the existing factory bus fitout options by providing the passenger with more comfort and safety to leave them feeling relaxed and refreshed upon arrival at their destination. It was important that the passengers in this vehicle would have the best possible experience when travelling.

The Solution

For a more comfortable ride, suburban 4520 reclining seats were installed in a 3+3+4 configuration; this provides an anti-claustrophobic and relaxing environment. For easy accessibility, the vehicle was fitted with an automatic side step and entry handles. The easy to clean seats were covered with cloth and had plastic backs. For increased passenger comfort an overhead 3-speed fan blower was installed, and for noise reduction a composite lined roof was added. Auto Transform increased passenger safety on this vehicle by installing over the shoulder lap and diagonal seatbelts, a tube style luggage barrier and emergency exit equipment. This vehicle is fully certified to New Zealand Safety Standards for PSV.
