Hi, my name is Jackie and I have been part of the Auto Transform family for the last 15 years.
Over these years, our team and office has changed significantly. I started out in our little pink office in Fairfax Ave, sporting a fax machine, a very flash typewriter and a few phones, eventually moving to the magnificent purpose-built premises we are in today.
My role as Sales Support / Team Leader is truly rewarding as I get to be part of almost all aspects of the business. This is a major turnaround from my very first days, when I didn’t know the difference between a remittance statement and an invoice! How things change.
One of the favourite parts of my job is interacting with our customers and staff, striving to be a happy and positive influence.
A work day in the life of Jackie can be hard to pin down. Jax of all trades comes to mind… Greeting and meeting customers, be it in person or on the phone (always with a smile!), technical questions here and there, receiving and releasing vehicles along with some very important quoting. Being able to lend a hand where needed is all part of the culture of our team.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy a good book, a hard gym workout, a cool swim, and a glass of vino or 3… It would be safe to say you would be here all day if I rattled on about all the other things I enjoy, so I will leave a little to your imagination!
One thing I do like to brag about is successfully raising 2 boys (not on my own I must say). This would have to be my crowing glory. Now aged 22 and 20, they are the light of my life and make me proud every day.
Being part of the Auto Transform team and seeing it grow has made the last 15 years fly by. Constantly learning and been given the opportunity to grow keeps you motivated and passionate. I am looking forward to another 15 years – watch this space!!
