Before he purchased a VW Amarok utility, Greg Powell of Powell Construction had always owned Ford and Holden utes. He enjoyed the VW’s power, handling and quality finish, but was less impressed with its short loading tray. There just wasn’t quite enough room for all his gear.
Greg discovered Auto Transform after a disappointing experience with a couple of other Auckland vehicle adaptation companies. Always up for a challenge, our design team worked closely with him to develop a bespoke system of sliding trays and robust storage boxes. Not only has it made his Amarok a dream machine, he says it’s the best ute fitout he’s ever had. Everything he needs is easy to find and tidying up at the end of the day is a breeze.
