Smith and Smith provides vehicle glass repair and replacement services to more New Zealand motorists than any other repairer. The company has in excess of 60 branches and authorised dealers throughout New Zealand. Smith and Smith required commercial vehicle fitouts for their busy mobile technician vans, which needed quality shelving and racking systems with segregated equipment storage and a safe, well-organised and efficient mobile workspace.
To achieve this Auto Transform installed double-sided Elite shelving systems in the back of the van, with two drawer units accessible from the rear. A spring pole quick-release glass holding system was included to ensure safe, efficient transport and handling of replacement windscreens. Specialised drawers, vice and shelf units were installed for easy access from the side sliding door. Tough grip board floor linings were installed throughout and efficient LED lighting added to improve the safety of these efficient mobile workplaces. In keeping with the Smith and Smith brand, a quality professional finish was provided for the entire fitout.
