Battery placement adds a further constraint when designing a fitout for an electric vehicle. Batteries often sit under the floor, so standard screw-into-floor fixing isn’t always appropriate. Auto Transform EV fitouts are installed to OE mounts and bonded tracking so they are not a permanent modification. On an electric vehicle, that’s a safety consideration as well as a design one. Bonded tracking means no drilling near the battery.
