Working alongside Auto Transform, Noel Leeming undertook an extensive review of how technicians actually use their vehicles day-to-day. Rather than simply replacing ageing vehicles, the project focused on redesigning the workspace inside the van. The resulting Ford Transit fit-out introduced purpose-built storage, safer load restraint systems, dedicated equipment locations, and an integrated on-vehicle workspace to support technicians at the point of delivery.
The result is a fleet designed around operational consistency. Every vehicle follows the same layout and storage model, enabling technicians to step into any van and immediately know where tools, accessories and equipment are located. This standardisation reduces complexity, improves efficiency, supports training, and helps deliver a more consistent customer experience nationwide. Overall, van efficiency has improved by circa 15%.
