Ryman Healthcare needed to provide safe, comfortable transport for routine journeys and day trips. They wanted a fitout that would put their residents’ needs first, while also adhering to budget restraints and a requirement for easy cleaning and maintenance.
To provide a high standard of comfort and safety for Ryman’s residents, Auto Transform fitted Suburban 4520 high-back bucket seating in a three-row 3+3+4 configuration. All seats were fitted with lap and diagonal integrated retracting seat belts. A luggage barrier was installed behind the rear row of seats to enable full use of the remaining 800mm of luggage space. To reduce noise levels on the road, sound-deadening plywood was used to line the floor. This was overlaid with carpet and vinyl to provide an attractive, easy-to-clean finish. The entire fitout was fully certified to New Zealand safety standards.
