Joysteer is an electronic driving system for people with severe physical disabilities. Due to drivers’ individually adaptable input devices, Joysteer provides a reliable and easy to operate driving solution for a wide range of disabilities.
Due to an individually adaptable force feedback, Joysteer provides an active and relaxed driving experience. Furthermore, the steering ratio adapts to the driving speed. This ensures a safe handling and a precise lane keeping even at high speed.

For customers with very little strength and inability to handle force feedback. Small steering and braking deflections are possible. For customers with a reduced range of movements, configurations “steer, brake, gas,” “accelerate by pushing forward” or “braking by pushing forward” are possible.

Various physical disabilities require individual solutions to drive a vehicle. The modular Joysteer system therefore offers different operating units. These are programmed to the specific needs and can be adjusted by the car adaptation company upon request. Thus steering, accelerating and braking corresponds to each individual’s personal needs. Each steering and braking request is transmitted entirely through an electronic connection to the wheel. This “drive-by-wire” technology is state of the art. Two separate branches monitor each other and make sure that in case of failure the functionality remains. Therefore Joysteer provides safe driving at all times.
