 Hey, welcome to today’s A-T Minute. I’m Josh Stanners, and here we have a pretty exciting new product that we’ve installed on an Audi EV80. So this is an electric vehicle. critical that stuff is lightweight, but also heavy-duty for the type of work that it’s going to be going in for.
Some really key features on this is,
A, the amount of payload you get on it,
B, the amount of efficiency you get out of it for the technicians that are gonna use it,
and also that it’s a highly sustainable product, being that it is really well-suited for an electric vehicle and it can be reused on another cab chassis in, say, 5, 10 years’ time.
So let’s go over some of these, key features of the product. We have a aluminum front toolbox. This is all key-lockable, full height, and you have a mid-height shelf in the center here. We have our heavy-duty aluminum truck deck on the back. This is about 240 kg, and we have our side toolboxes with integrated modular sh- shelving and drawers. Every single product is a cut-through design, so it’s saving about 30% from tr- even traditional aluminum service body builds. The deck has heavy-duty sides, as you can see, and tailgate. Great for accessing gear on the back, loading it up. You’ve got some really good space here, just over a meter, and also between the toolboxes. So this is going be for a, a port servicing company. And around at the back, we have protection for the toolboxes. You can also customise this with tie-downs if need be, for strapping stuff up against.
And we have a slightly different configuration of modular drawers and shelving in the back of here as well. Each toolbox comes with an LED light, fantastic for working at night. All central locking, slam latch units, so your tools are very effectively locked up with one lock of the button and push of the door. And on the top, we have a class-one LED light bar. this is very suitable for the type of work that the technician’s doing, and minimizing danger, increasing safety. We’d love to help you today.
